IpOHA (Cat No.: I041089) is a selective inhibitor of prolyl hydroxylase domain (PHD) enzymes, which regulate the stability of hypoxia-inducible factors (HIFs) under normoxic conditions. By inhibiting PHDs, IpOHA stabilizes HIF-α subunits, promoting the expression of hypoxia-responsive genes involved in angiogenesis, erythropoiesis, and cell survival. It is widely used in hypoxia signaling and oxygen-sensing pathway research, particularly in studies of ischemia, cancer, and metabolic regulation. IpOHA is for research use only in laboratory and preclinical investigations.
