K-Ras-IN-1 (CAT: I005075) is a K-Ras inhibitor that specifically targets K-Ras, a member of the Ras protein family involved in cell signaling pathways. K-Ras plays a critical role in regulating cell growth, differentiation, and survival. K-Ras-IN-1 binds to K-Ras in a hydrophobic pocket, which is normally occupied by Tyr-71 in the inactive state of the protein. By binding to this pocket, K-Ras-IN-1 disrupts the function of K-Ras, potentially inhibiting its downstream signaling pathways and interfering with cellular processes that depend on K-Ras activity.
