KDS2010 (Cat No.: I030028) is a highly selective, reversible inhibitor of monoamine oxidase-B (MAO-B), developed for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease. Unlike irreversible MAO-B inhibitors, KDS2010 offers improved safety and reduced side effects by preserving enzyme function over time. It reduces oxidative stress and neuroinflammation by inhibiting dopamine breakdown and hydrogen peroxide production. In preclinical studies, KDS2010 demonstrated potent neuroprotective effects and good blood-brain barrier penetration, making it a promising candidate for disease-modifying therapies in CNS disorders.
