LC3-mHTT-IN-AN1(Cat No.:I017721), also known as Compound AN1, is a linker compound designed to interact with mutant huntingtin (mHTT) and LC3B proteins. It selectively binds to mHTT and LC3B, but not to the wild-type huntingtin protein (wtHTT) or unrelated control proteins. By targeting the mutant huntingtin protein, LC3-mHTT-IN-AN1 reduces the levels of mHTT in neurons of mice with Huntington’s disease (HD). This allele-selective reduction of mHTT offers potential therapeutic benefits in the treatment of Huntington’s disease.
