Lobradimil, also known as RMP-7, is a synthetic bradykinin analog used in pharmaceutical research to enhance drug delivery across the blood-brain barrier (BBB). By temporarily increasing the permeability of the BBB, Lobradimil facilitates the passage of therapeutic agents into the brain, making it valuable in the treatment of brain tumors and other central nervous system disorders. Its ability to modulate vascular permeability has been explored in conjunction with chemotherapeutic agents, improving their efficacy in targeting brain malignancies.
