LX2343(Cat No.:I014455) is a multi-target reagent that shows promise in slowing down various pathological markers associated with Alzheimer’s disease. It acts as an inhibitor of β-secretase (BACE1) with an inhibitory concentration (IC50) of 11.43±0.36 μM. BACE1 plays a crucial role in the production of amyloid-beta peptides, which are known to contribute to the formation of plaques in the brain, a hallmark of Alzheimer’s disease. By inhibiting BACE1, LX2343 may help mitigate the progression of Alzheimer’s disease by reducing amyloid-beta production.
