LYN-1604 dihydrochloride (CAT: I015600) is a potent activator of UNC-51-like kinase 1 (ULK1) with potential applications in the research of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). LYN-1604 activates ULK1, exhibiting enzymatic activity and affinity for wild-type ULK1. It induces cell death, up-regulates Beclin-1, and promotes autophagy through the ULK complex in MDA-MB-231 cells. LYN-1604 also increases the cleavage of caspase 3, leading to apoptosis. In preclinical models of TNBC xenografts, LYN-1604 inhibits tumor growth by targeting ULK1-mediated cell death. These findings suggest LYN-1604 is a promising compound for further investigation in TNBC therapy.
