m-PEG4-NH-DBCO(CAT: I016043) is a polyethylene glycol (PEG) derivative containing a DBCO (dibenzocyclooctyne) functional group and an amino group. The PEG spacer has a length of four ethylene glycol units. The DBCO group is commonly used in bioconjugation chemistry for the specific and efficient labeling of molecules with azide-containing compounds through a copper-free click reaction known as strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC). The amino group of m-PEG4-NH-DBCO can react with various activated esters or NHS esters to introduce functional groups or linkers onto biomolecules for further conjugation or modification.
