MAC-545496（Cat No.:I017382）is a potent inhibitor of the glycopeptide-resistance-associated proteinR (GraR), displaying high affinity binding to the full-length GraR protein (Kd≤0.1nM). It effectively reverses β-lactam resistance in methicillin-resistant strains and acts synergistically with CAMP (cyclic adenosine monophosphate). MAC-545496 demonstrates significant activity within macrophages and diminishes the virulence of Staphylococcus aureus in a model of Rhizobia meliloti larval infection. These findings suggest the potential of MAC-545496 as a promising therapeutic agent in combating antibiotic-resistant strains of Staphylococcus aureus and related infections.
