MenA-IN-2 (Compound 11) is an inhibitor of 1,4-dihydroxy-2-naphthoate prenyltransferase (MenA). MenA-IN-2 inhibits MenA with an IC50 value of 22 µM and inhibits Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) with an GIC50 value of 10 µM. MenA-IN-2 can curb the continuous transmission of Mtb[1].
