MeOSuc-AAPV-AMC(Cat No.:R064928)is a peptide substrate used in enzymatic assays to measure the activity of specific proteases, particularly those from the caspase family. The compound consists of a methoxy group (MeO) attached to a succinyl group (Suc), followed by the peptide sequence AAPV, which is cleaved by the target enzyme, and a 7-amino-4-methylcoumarin (AMC) fluorophore. Upon cleavage by the protease, AMC is released, producing a fluorescent signal that can be quantitatively measured. MeOSuc-AAPV-AMC is commonly used in research for studying enzyme kinetics and screening for protease inhibitors in drug development.
