Miconazole（Cat No.:A000799）is an antifungal agent widely used to treat various fungal infections, including dermatophyte infections, candidiasis, and systemic mycoses. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, thereby disrupting membrane integrity and causing fungal cell death. Miconazole is effective against a broad spectrum of fungi and is available in topical, oral, and intravenous formulations. It is commonly prescribed for skin and mucosal infections, as well as for more severe systemic fungal infections in immunocompromised patients.
