Micronomicin(Cat No.:M014237)is an aminoglycoside antibiotic effective against a variety of Gram-negative and some Gram-positive bacteria. It inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, leading to misreading of mRNA and bacterial cell death. Used primarily in infections caused by resistant pathogens, micronomicin shows strong activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Klebsiella species. Its stability against certain aminoglycoside-modifying enzymes makes it valuable in treating infections where other aminoglycosides may be ineffective. Micronomicin is a critical option in addressing serious bacterial infections in clinical settings.
