Nefazodone hydrochloride（Cat No.:I004993）is an antidepressant medication primarily used to treat major depressive disorder (MDD) and anxiety disorders. It functions as a serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) but also acts as an antagonist at certain serotonin receptors, which helps improve mood and alleviate anxiety symptoms. Nefazodone works by increasing the levels of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain, which are thought to have a positive effect on mood regulation. Though effective, nefazodone is less commonly prescribed due to potential liver toxicity concerns. It is often considered when other antidepressants are not well-tolerated.
