NIH-12848(CAT: I008180) is a compound that has been identified as a putative inhibitor of phosphatidylinositol 5-phosphate 4-kinase γ (PI5P4Kγ). PI5P4Kγ is an enzyme involved in the regulation of cellular signaling pathways by phosphorylating phosphatidylinositol 5-phosphate (PI5P) to generate phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2). Inhibition of PI5P4Kγ may modulate PIP2 levels and disrupt downstream signaling cascades.
