NM107 (CAT: I002595), also known as 2′-C-Methylcytidine, is a compound that has shown inhibitory activity against HCV (Hepatitis C Virus) and other related viruses. It acts as an inhibitor of HCV RNA replication, with an IC50 of 7.0 μM in vitro. NM107 has demonstrated potent and selective inhibitory activity against flavi- and pestivirus replication in cell culture, including HCV 1b replicon cells, with an IC50 of 1.13 μM. It has also shown inhibitory activity against bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) replication, with an EC50 of 0.67 nM, and has the ability to eliminate persistent BVDV infection at non-toxic concentrations. These properties make NM107 a promising candidate for further investigation as a therapeutic agent for HCV infection and other viral infections.
