NS-3-008(Cat No.:I017170) is an orally active transcriptional inhibitor of G0/G1 switch 2 (G0s2) with inhibitory effects on Hsd17b4 and Stat5 signaling. It has demonstrated potential benefits in a mouse model of chronic kidney disease, including decreased levels of G0s2 and Ccl2 mRNA, reduced phosphorylation of Stat5 and p65 protein, lower SUN concentrations, decreased renal caspase 3/7 activity, and reduced F4/80-positive area and F4/80 protein levels. These findings suggest that NS-3-008 may have therapeutic implications for chronic kidney disease, but further research and clinical studies are necessary to validate its efficacy and safety in human patients.
