OAC1 (CAT: I003042) is an Octamer-binding transcription factor 4 (Oct4)-activating compound. It has been shown to enhance the efficiency of induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) reprogramming and accelerate the reprogramming process. OAC1 promotes the expression and activity of Oct4, a key transcription factor in maintaining pluripotency and self-renewal of stem cells. By enhancing the Oct4 function, OAC1 facilitates the generation of iPSCs from somatic cells.
