Obscurolide A<sub>1</sub> is a natural butyrolactone isolated from S. viridochromogenes. It inhibits calcium/calmodulin-<wbr></wbr>dependent phosphodiesterase from bovine brain, presumably PDE1 (IC<sub>50</sub> = 15 mM).
