Oct4 inducer-1(Cat No.:R015453), also known as compound OAC-3, is a potent activator of the Oct4 transcription factor, a key regulator of pluripotency in embryonic stem cells. By activating both Oct4 and Nanog promoters, Oct4 inducer-1 enhances the formation of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). It facilitates cellular reprogramming by increasing efficiency and shortening the reprogramming time. In studies, Oct4 inducer-1 (1 μM) has been shown to enhance reprogramming efficiency by activating Oct4-luc and Nanog-luc reporters in embryonic stem cells, leading to an increase in iPSC generation and acceleration of iPSC-like colony formation.
