Omadacycline tosylate（Cat No.:I000345）is a semi-synthetic broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic used to treat a range of bacterial infections, including acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (ABSSSI) and community-acquired bacterial pneumonia (CABP). It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis through binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, preventing the elongation of peptides. Omadacycline is active against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogens, including drug-resistant strains. Its tosylate salt form enhances stability and bioavailability. Omadacycline is particularly useful in managing infections caused by multidrug-resistant organisms.
