Pamaquine naphthoate (Cat.No:I034189) is a synthetic antimalarial drug. It is a derivative of primaquine and is used in the treatment and prevention of malaria caused by Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium ovale. Pamaquine naphthoate acts by killing the dormant liver-stage parasites, preventing relapses of the disease. It is an important tool in malaria control programs.
