PAR-4 Agonist Peptide, amide TFA (Cat No.: I019431) is a synthetic peptide that selectively activates protease-activated receptor 4 (PAR-4), a G protein-coupled receptor involved in platelet activation, inflammation, and vascular biology. The peptide mimics the tethered ligand sequence revealed upon thrombin cleavage of PAR-4, initiating intracellular signaling cascades. The amide form enhances stability, while the trifluoroacetate (TFA) salt improves solubility and handling. It is widely used in cardiovascular and thrombosis research to study PAR-4-mediated pathways and develop targeted antiplatelet or anti-inflammatory therapies.
