Pegvorhyaluronidase alfa (Cat No.: I034355) is a PEGylated recombinant human hyaluronidase enzyme designed to degrade hyaluronan, a major component of the extracellular matrix in tumors. By breaking down hyaluronan, it enhances the penetration and efficacy of co-administered anticancer therapies. Used in oncology, especially pancreatic and other solid tumors, it improves drug delivery and reduces tumor interstitial pressure. The PEGylation increases its half-life and stability. Pegvorhyaluronidase alfa is being evaluated in combination therapies to overcome tumor resistance and improve treatment outcomes in cancer patients.
