Proxodolol hydrochloride（Cat No.:I008888）is a selective beta-blocker primarily used for managing hypertension and certain types of arrhythmias. It works by blocking beta-adrenergic receptors in the heart, leading to reduced heart rate, decreased blood pressure, and improved heart rhythm. By inhibiting the effects of catecholamines like adrenaline, proxodolol lowers the workload on the heart and helps prevent abnormal heart rhythms. It is considered useful in treating conditions such as high blood pressure, angina, and tachyarrhythmias. Proxodolol hydrochloride, however, is not commonly used in clinical practice today and may be more frequently seen in research settings.
