PXS-6302 hydrochloride(CAT: I040694) is a potent, selective, and irreversible inhibitor of lysyl oxidase (LOX) and LOX-like enzymes (LOXL1–4), which catalyze collagen and elastin cross-linking in the extracellular matrix. This topical compound is being developed to treat fibrotic skin conditions, such as hypertrophic scars and skin fibrosis, by reducing tissue stiffness and abnormal scarring. The hydrochloride form enhances solubility and skin penetration, allowing for localized therapeutic effects with minimal systemic exposure. PXS-6302 hydrochloride represents a novel antifibrotic strategy and is widely used in fibrosis research and dermatological therapy development, offering promise for improved skin repair and regeneration.
