(R)-eIF4A3-IN-2 is a less active enantiomer of eIF4A3-IN-2. eIF4A3-IN-2 is a highly selective and noncompetitive eukaryotic initiation factor 4A-3 (eIF4A3) inhibitor with an IC50 of 110 nM[1].
Eukaryotic initiation factor 4A-3 (eIF4A3) is an Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD) box-family adenosine triphosphate (ATP)-dependent RNA helicase[1].
