Roscovitine(Cat No.:I002410)is a potent and selective inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs). It preferentially targets multiple CDK enzymes, including CDK2, CDK7, and CDK9. This inhibition leads to the induction of apoptosis in cancer cells, making it a promising therapeutic agent for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and other cancers. Studies have demonstrated that roscovitine exhibits enhanced antimitotic activity during the G1/S and G2/M phases of the cell cycle. Additionally, roscovitine has shown potential for the treatment of leukemia, HIV infection, herpes simplex virus infection, and mechanisms associated with chronic inflammation.
