RS-1(CAT: I003103) is a small molecule inhibitor that is used to inhibit the activity of RAD51, a protein that plays a key role in DNA repair and recombination. By inhibiting the activity of RAD51, RS-1 can sensitize cancer cells to DNA damage and make them more vulnerable to chemotherapy and radiation therapy. RS-1 has been shown to be effective in preclinical studies, and it is currently being evaluated for its potential use in cancer therapy. While RS-1 has shown promising results in early studies, further research is necessary to determine its safety and efficacy in clinical settings.
