Rupintrivir(Cat No.:R009491)is a potent, selective inhibitor of the human rhinovirus (HRV) 3C protease, an enzyme essential for viral replication. By targeting the 3C protease, Rupintrivir disrupts the viral life cycle, preventing the cleavage of viral polyproteins and thus inhibiting the formation of functional viral proteins. This makes it a valuable compound in antiviral research, particularly in the treatment of respiratory infections caused by rhinovirus. Rupintrivir has shown potential in clinical studies for reducing viral load and alleviating symptoms in patients with common cold and other HRV-related illnesses.
