S-Gboxin (CAT: I019485) is a functional analog of Gboxin, a compound known for its antitumor activity. S-Gboxin has demonstrated inhibitory effects on the growth of both mouse and human glioblastoma (GBM) cells, with an IC50 of 470 nM. It exhibits excellent metabolic stability and enhanced plasma stability, making it suitable for in vivo studies. In animal models, S-Gboxin administration at a dose of 10 mg/kg/day through intraperitoneal injection has shown significant inhibition of GBM growth. These findings suggest the potential of S-Gboxin as a therapeutic agent against GBM.
