Semilicoisoflavone B reduces amyloid β (Aβ) secretion by inhibiting β-secretase-1 (BACE1) expression and activity. Semilicoisoflavone B decreases BACE1 expression mainly through increasing PPARγ expression and inhibiting STAT3 phosphorylation[1].
