SG3199(Cat No.:I036268)is a potent DNA cross-linking agent and the active warhead of pyrrolobenzodiazepine (PBD) dimers used in antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for cancer therapy. It binds to the minor groove of DNA, forming highly stable interstrand cross-links that prevent DNA replication and transcription, leading to cell death, particularly in rapidly dividing cancer cells. SG3199’s ability to selectively target and kill tumor cells when conjugated to antibodies makes it a promising agent in targeted cancer therapies. Its role in ADCs contributes to the development of more effective and less toxic cancer treatments.
