sGnRH-A acetate is a salmon gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) analogue. sGnRH-A acetate stimulates growth hormone secretion. sGnRH-A acetate also can be used as an inducer of ovulation by artificial insemination[1][2].
sGnRH-A acetate (0.1 nM-1 μM, 24 h) increases GH mRNA levels and stimulates GH secretion in a dose-dependent manner[1].
sGnRH-A acetate (10 nM, 6 h) induces growth hormone levels nearly 5 times higher than the control in common carp pituitary fragments[1].
