SL-327 (Cat No.:I003073) is a cell-permeable vinylogous cyanamide compound that functions as a selective inhibitor of mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 1 and 2 (MEK-1 and MEK-2). MEK is an upstream kinase in the MAPK/ERK signaling pathway and plays a crucial role in transmitting signals from cell surface receptors to the nucleus, regulating cell growth, differentiation, and survival. By inhibiting MEK-1 and MEK-2, SL-327 disrupts the activation of ERK and downstream signaling events. This selective inhibition of MEK-1 and MEK-2 by SL-327 has been widely used in research to study the MAPK/ERK pathway and explore its role in various cellular processes and diseases.
