Disuccinimidyl suberate (DSS) is a bifunctional cross-<wbr></wbr>linking reagent which contains two N-<wbr></wbr>hydroxysuccinimide esters that are reactive toward primary amines. DSS is membrane-<wbr></wbr>permeable and is commonly used to cross-<wbr></wbr>link proteins in intact cells.
