SZLP1-41(Cat No.:I002708) is a highly specific inhibitor of Skp2, a protein involved in cell cycle regulation. By binding to the F-box domain of Skp2, SZLP1-41 prevents the association of Skp2 with Skp1 and inhibits the formation of the Skp2SCF complex. Similar to Skp2 deficiency, SZLP1-41 promotes p27-mediated apoptosis and senescence while hindering Akt-driven glycolysis. Due to these effects, SZLP1-41 exhibits antitumor activity, making it a potential candidate for targeted cancer therapies aimed at inhibiting Skp2 function.
