TBB (Cat No.:I002263) is a selective and potent inhibitor of protein kinase CK2 (casein kinase 2). It inhibits CK2 activity by competing with ATP binding to the catalytic site of the kinase. CK2 is a serine/threonine kinase involved in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, survival, and signal transduction. TBB has been widely used as a research tool to study CK2-related pathways and their role in disease processes. It has shown potential therapeutic applications in cancer treatment due to its ability to inhibit CK2-mediated cell proliferation and survival pathways. Additionally, TBB has been investigated for its anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties.
