Tomeglovir(Cat No.:I009635)is an effective antiviral agent with activity against cytomegalovirus (CMV). It functions by inhibiting the progression of viral DNA concatemers, which are important for viral replication. Tomeglovir demonstrates potent inhibitory effects against human CMV (HCMV) with an IC50 value of 0.34 μM, as well as against mouse CMV (MCMV) with an IC50 value of 0.039 μM. These findings highlight the potential of tomeglovir as a promising therapeutic option for CMV infections in both human and animal models.
