Verubecestat TFA(CAT: I014753) is a trifluoroacetic acid salt form of Verubecestat. Verubecestat is a potent and selective inhibitor of beta-secretase 1 (BACE1), an enzyme involved in the production of amyloid-beta peptides, which are known to accumulate in the brains of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease. By inhibiting BACE1, Verubecestat TFA has the potential to reduce the production of amyloid-beta peptides and potentially slow down the progression of Alzheimer’s disease.
