WRR139 is a peptide vinyl sulfone involving in disease processes such as inflammation and cancer. WRR139 is also a cytosolic enzyme N-glycanase 1 (NGLY1) and Nrf1 inhibitor. WRR139 enhances Carfilzomib cytotoxicity against cancer cells[1].
WRR139 (0.01-100 μM; 1 h) inhibits NGLY1 in vitro and impairs processing of Nrf1 in HEK293 cells[1].
WRR139 (5 μM; 18 h) disrupts Nrf1 processing, location, and activation in HEK293 cells[1].
WRR139 (1 μM; 24 h) enhances the cytotoxicity of Carfilzomib in an NGLY1-dependent manner in U266, H929, and Jurkat cells[1].
