Recombinant Human Interleukin-31 receptor subunit alpha (IL31RA), partial
This receptor associates with OSMR to form the interleukin-31 (IL-31) receptor, activating STAT3 and, to a lesser extent, STAT1 and STAT5. It may play a role in skin immunity and is involved in mediating IL-31-induced itch, likely through the activation of cation channels TRPA1 and TRPV1. Additionally, it positively regulates the number and cycling status of immature myeloid progenitor cells in the bone marrow in vivo and enhances the survival of myeloid progenitor cells in vitro. These functions contribute to immune responses and hematopoiesis.
